St.Francis Manyoni Mission (Gokwe Diocese) - 1999


Our friars Joseph Sahayaraj and Mariadoss entered into the new Diocese. In 1999 Manyoni mission was given to us and it will be the twelfth mission in the diocese of Gokwe. Our friars cater to the spiritual needs of 12 Out-Stations. The Catholic population of this area would be about 1500 from 150 families. The people live within the radius of 30 kms from the mission centre.

St.Francis of Assisi, Zimunya (Mutare Diocese) - 1998











This is our second township Parish in the Diocese of Mutare. It was founded along with Avila Mission in 1998. Zimunya was one of the six townships in Mutare. The Catholics around 2000 from 600 families. The Diocese has entrusted this mission to the Tamilnadu Capuchins. This was the Sixth foundation in Zimbabwe. Our Friars cater to the spiritual needs of the people here.

Now it is established into 12 Out-Stations.

Fathima Mission (Hwange Diocese) - 1990

In March 1990, the Fathima Mission in Zimbabwe was officially inaugurated. Our friars stray there and cater to the spiritual needs of the people in six Sub-Stations.

Our Lady, Queen of Peace Mission (Bulawayo Diocese) - 1990




On January 1st 1990 Our new fiary at Entumbane was blessed and our friars took their residence there. The Parish of Entumbane is entrusted to our Province by the Bishop of Bulawayo. It will be remain a Capuchin Parish

Our friar Irudharaj was Parish priest, a holy man met with an accident. Many were missed him. He was doing lots of social work in the mission. Farmer Archi Bishop used to call him "African Gandhi". He was buried in Bulawayo.




At Present fathers Kevin and Peter Sahayaraj are Priests in Charge in the Parish.
